I want/need some new black boots. I really want some tall fitflop boots but they are rather narrow. Budget is 100 quid. I really like tall just below the knee boots of the bikerish type-stuff like fly/oxygen, quite like the wedge sole look.

The mid length fitflop ones are pretty good too.

My blowfish boots are here already. Bit snug round the toes but otherwise fine and zip up easily on my fat calves.

Sure they won't last long but for now I don't have flappy, gappy boots.

I'm struggling a bit with wearing proper structured footwear though. I got cramp in my foot on a long drive the other day.

I've been wearing loose espadrilles for driving and havaianas pretty much all summer. I've fucked my feet forever with my slovenly footwear ways!

I'm not up to date with fashion and I think these type were popular a few years ago. But I don't care, I like em. And I hope/ think they'll last a while.

Yes, I have a variation on those, mine have the pink flowered lining. If they're the same ones, they are not actually black, a kind of dark patchy grey, but can be polished black. They are quite flamboyant with the ribbon laces, prob wouldn't wear mine for work apart from Fridays. Depends on your work I guess.
colacubes has them in brown shearling I think

Thanks moose and semi. I can pretty much wear what I want in the office, I've been wearing flip flops all summer.
These might be pushing it a little but I'm getting to be past caring.

The original plan was to get something suitable to wear on customer visits too but that would be max once a week and not for a while.

I do have my cheap blowfish boots or could glue my rocket dogs for dry days.

my gf has those in more of a suadey charcoal grey though, really comfy but the silky ribbony laces you get with them are a bit of a faff

edit: same as moose, I think, maybe not suade though more of a roughed up leather look

My slight reticence at making a purchase is because I am big and heavy and tend to supinate I am concerned that the outer heel will ware down easily and quickly.

Does anyone have this style of boot and has this been the case?
