Bilbao anti fascists see off Russian neo nazis

The Russian being held in Germany for attempted homicide of an English fan in 2016 was traveling with this lot. I wonder if those so quick to condemn the English fans at the time may have reason for a little rethink.

And a policeman died.
Sadly yes. Most reports say a heart attck but one or two said hit by a missile. A small army of police were brought in because of the threat from the Russians. They attacked fans and a 60 year old man who was carrying an anti anti Putin banner earlier during the competition in Sevilla . The President of the Spanish League said the Russians should have been allowed to travel. There had been anti fascist demonstrationsin Bilbao two days before the match.

I deliberately didn't say what killed the policeman because there seems to be some small confusion about what caused it. The only clear thing seems to be that he was crowd control.

Was the copper killed Ertzaintza?
A police officer has died in Spain after violent clashes erupted between rival fans before Athletic Bilbao's home Europa League match against Spartak Moscow at San Mames.

The officer from the Ertzaintza - the Basque Country's police force - suffered a heart attack.

More than 500 officers were deployed for the tie and reports say at least five arrests were made.
