For anyone who saw the game at Hornchurch on Saturday, their centre forward Chris Dickson was the best Hamlet player of the previous decade in my opinion, albeit a decade spent in the wilderness of largely mid-table finishes in Division 1 South of the Isthmian League
Has to be Erhun for me. There were times in my early days of watching Hamlet where I was basically paying just to see him - absolutely magnificent footballer.
I think it's obviously Erhun with Ethan in second place. Has anyone still got that gif where he just flicks it over the defenders head and controls it on the other side? You'd have to watch a lot of Premier League matches before you saw a piece of skill as good as that.
Erhun's ability has taken him into the professional divisions. My second best was Peter Adenyi. There were times in the Isthmian Division 1 South when our Dulwich team were struggling and then they passed the ball to Peter and we were back in control. Captain, Leader and all round Superman his influence was immense. He could tackle too. We could have kept him another year or two. They both played in the team that were Champions.
