Best Game for ipad That Supports (Xbox) Controller

I'm dipping my feet back into gaming so bought an Xbox controller for my ipad (2018).

It's all paired and i played Call of Duty last night but it was pants. Just way too overblown for what i'm looking for (+ continual upselling also).

Are there any obvious standout games on this platform with controller support, free or paid?

The best idea is to get Apple arcade. This has a lot of games that require a controller. None of them has any microtransaction bs as Apple is fussy like that.

Its only 5 quid a month. So two months play isn't breaking the bank.
