Best 2nd hand iPhone

Student son had his iPhone X mislaid in an unfortunate drinking incident.
What is the current sweet spot of bang per buck for reconditioned.
He says he is looking at an XR for £200
Is it worth spending more on 11 or 12?

I’m still using an 11 fairly comfortably. Can prob get one of those for a decent price these days.

look on eBay for new or like new from a reputable seller and as above get the latest model you can afford.

Backmarket seems to be place to go. I only got a 12 as my 6 + camera was not good enough, otherwise I would still be using it. A 12 seems to be the sweet spot these days

Went backmarket in the end and got a 12 . It got delivered very quickly- which was pleasing.

I would always go with a legit company for used phones rather than ebay or some hight street kiosk.
