The BBC aren't just concerned with the users, it has to be pointed out.

There are rights issues and people wanting to get appearance money which is how actors earn money. Unless I am mistaken I've not heard of an open source DRM format and until one exists they are between a rock and a hard place. They could just say that until a open source DRM format exists they'll not put stuff on-line to protect the rights holders?

90% of all platforms for a start isn't a bad start is it.
