Battery level fix please?

Anyone?

Low budget Samsung with latest android updated. When the battery level gets into the low 30 percents, it just does without warning. I expect it now, but it would obviously be better if I knew exactly where I stood.

6 months old with low use. A full charge is normally good for 3 days standby. Is there a better, independent battery monitor app?

You've got a battery failure and the only solution is replacement.

Battery level measurement is a guess, not a science. They correlate voltage with %, but on a dying battery, voltage doesn't decay nice and linearly as expected, it just falls off a cliff. So you go 50%, 40%, 30%, nothing.

Get it fixed under warranty.

Hmmm. I bought it in Lisbon. It came from Bangladesh.

I dunno what phone it is or what the rates are where you are, but FWIW I enquired this year at an official Samsung store about a replacement battery on an S7 and it was £60.
