An Australian woman has been found 17 days after she got lost in the bush in northern Queensland with no food.

Shannon Leah Fraser stumbled out of the bush on Wednesday morning, reported local media.

The 30-year-old had gone to the Golden Hole swimming spot with two men, including her partner, when she disappeared on 21 September.

Impressive bit of survival there.

now i want it the other way round...

So, have I understood correctly - she (and presumably the men) got a bit too wasted for comfort, decided to drive out into the bush to chill out, and then the men could find their way back to the roadside but they lost track of her?

Something stinks here, and it's not the neglected washing up.

I need that diet
No, you really don't. Even if only 14lbs (not 3 stone as mentioned in one tabloid) were shed in 17 days, it'd still be dangerously quick. You'd risk permanent damage to heart muscle, which AFAIK is one of the first bits to get cannibalised. :(
