Army to review female close combat roles

Well the frontline has gone so the whole things a bit moot.
But israeli experience is male soldiers cant cope with women in danger.
Women can do some roles but driving a tank is one thing putting the fucking track back on one is insanely physical had the misfortune of one throwing a track by my trench que 2 hours of epic struggle:(

I know possibly the world's smallest (female) tank mechanic for whom that is a regular task. I was flippin' amazed to see her track bashing one day - I swear the sledgehammer weighed as much as she did.

Anyway, female medics have been patrolling with frontline infantry troops for long enough without any problems. If women want to join the infantry I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to. Why they hell they would even want to in the first place is another matter.

Track bashing in the base must be hard work.
In a german field where the tanks at an angle and you have no idea what the hell your doing its horrible.

Track bashing is the art of getting a caterpillar track back on a tank when it falls off for some reason.
On a main battle tank a track is made of steel.
If you know how hard getting a tyre back on a bicycle can be.
Now try that except the tyre is huge made of steel and the bike is 60 tons plus at an angle so you have to dig to get the track back on its a total nightmare.

Not sure theres a vast number of women wanting to join the infantry, us marines have failed to get any women through their infantry officer course.

Fuck that. Compare the Russian tank manufacturing (women) rate with the German (men) rate when it mattered during Stalingrad.

For extra lols the tank was nothing to do with my unit but we were there and offered to help:facepalm:
Two hours tank crew fucked off home we went back to our trench covered in mud and had to wait another 5 days to get a shower :(

So what. Women can be just as effective as men in all that kind of thing. Is that it? Or fucking what?

Germans produced precison death machines that when they worked could kill lots of things
Russians produced "a grave for 5 brothers" russian nickname for the t34
but shed loads of them and they worked well enough.

They worked better than the Lockheed F104 Starfighters the new Luftwaffe bought from the Yanks. Their crash record was so bad that the Germans used to joke about it:

'How can I own my own Starfighter?'

'Buy an acre of land and wait.'

Sorry what's that? What precision death machines? T34?
