Anyone got Logic 8? Need help!

Some friends of mine posted this today:

"Does anyone here have logic 8 on their computer? We need a 5 minute favour involving saving something in a different format."

Can anyone here help? They have Logic 9 apparently, but they can't do what they need to do. I think they upgraded and now they can't save one of their old songs.

I'll admit I don't have the faintest idea what any of this means, but if anyone could help that would be great.

As I say, they have Logic 9. But they can't do what they need to do in 9 for some reason, so they're looking for someone with Logic 8. Must be one of those annoying upgrade things.
