Also, since they are technically mercenaries, they lack many of the protections offered by the Geneva convention. Sucks to suck, I guess.

apart from stomping all over other countries' sovereignty, which to many countries is something they hold dear.

tbh after france pulled out of mali you were always going to get someone else offering their services
 
When Russia simply defends its own people from shelling it gets hit with huge sanctions, yet when France sends hordes of zombies and giant snakes to Mali etc. the west does nothing. Wagner to the rescue though!

Il76 just crashed in Mali, could be more Wagner plane misfortune.
