IT'S YOUR DECISION DANIEL
I saw this a couple of days ago and have been thinking about it lots since.

I really don't think I've ever had such an emotional response to a film. I consider it a masterpiece.

Has anyone else seen it? Best to spoiler if discussing details.

It looks quite difficult to see, which is a shame

Yes - went without knowing anything about it and thought it was excellent. Not many films that I want to watch again soon. Extraordinary performances and naturalistic direction.

Yes, definitely one of my top 3 films from last year.

It's on Mubi which you can get for a quid for 3 months.

It's a fabulous film, and I have also found it has stayed with me. Mescal and the young actor who plays his daughter both terrific, both saying so much with so little. I found myself crying before I'd really intellectually caught up to my emotional response towards the end, if that makes any sense at all.

I saw it alone at the flicks this afternoon & still processing it. It took me a short while to settle into the slow pace. Definitely recommend though it’s not a must be seen at flicks film.

I just watched it. It's an astonishingly beautiful and devastating film with a stunning performance from Paul Mescal and the almost impossibly good young Frankie Corio.

No wonder it was nominated for so many awards.

Definitely not to watch if you're feeling a bit down though, I'd say. A truly wonderful movie.

It's on the BBC iPlayer now.
