A day trip to Seville

Just booked 11 days in Torremolinos for me and my wife in a couple of weeks. First holiday ever without the kids. Now thinking about a day or even overnight trip to Seville mid way through. Want to submerge myself in local food, booze and culture. Any tips,advice or recommendations for me ? Thanks in advance.

I would most definitely recommend staying the night. If you're going in August or September it wont be thattttt busy. Too hot!! That might actually be a good reason to not bother with a day trip tbh. But yeah, I reckon you could get a nice double room for like 40-50e in Santa Cruz or the old centre. Well worth it! If you get an early train from Malaga and the last train back you still wont have more than like 9 hours in Seville. Not enough, in my opinion!

Btw there have been some decent enough threads on Seville before with some good tips.
