PIPs and assessments.
I read info yesterday from an ATOS insider that the points criteria has been slyly moved again.
I shall search and see if I can find and post it, but has anyone heard about this?
(Goes off to scrabble about)
^^ Scratch that.
It was hoax.
Sorry.
...subsidised childcare while they work, or a salary equivalent to full-time work until their youngest child turns 13.
5) G4S, Capita, Serco, ATOS, and similar parasites to have all their UK operations and assets seized and either auctioned or brought under public control.
6) A wide-ranging...
Clegg The Unemployed has a better ring to it. Tries to claim on the sick due to the stress of his predicament, ATOS declare him fit for work and ends up doing Workfare at Tesco.
...income tax, and a tax on profits.
Build houses. Build houses. Build houses.
Free higher education for all who want it.
Abolish ATOS, G4S, SERCO, etc etc. Throw the cunts in jail.
Massive tax breaks for all businesses that are owned and controlled by the workforce.
Punitive taxation for...
'Atos doesn't help' is probably the understatement of the year. You also seem to be making sweeping generalisations about men's' emotional capability. Less generalising and more facts would probably help your arguments enormously, if you could be bothered making them.
Yes, I would say 'atos' is not helping matters, broader social and economic deprivation through austerity doesn't help. Mens inability to channel their emotion properly doesn't help.
...the reasons why people commit suicide. No-one here is saying it's a good thing that they do, and suicide is a very different issue to violence.
Reasons are complex. For example, the punitive process that Atos puts some of the most vulnerable through has been noted as the cause in several cases.
When was your wife notified of this? I'm asking because it's unreasonable to expect her to do the journey, let alone the assessment, unaccompanied.
In a better world, you'd be able to reschedule the assessment for a time and date when somebody was available to go with her. This isn't a better...
My wife has atos reassessment tomorrow. I can't go with her and she has no one to take notes. Any basic suggestions?
Eta she had depression and an eating disorder amongst her problems.
...is and what she's prepared to go through to get it to really comment on it but with my condition I'd rather risk a few days of crippling pain than throw myself on Atos' mercy. Though my ultimate preference would be to have access to the kind of welfare state that we've all agreed upon and...
Apparently Mark Thomas on his latest tour undertook a project to develop a questionnaire for ATOS assessors, it has been posted on a parliamentary committee website
kudos to him and his team.
We have to fight it with everything we've got. We don't have a choice. Atos. ATOS, for God's sake, contracted by the state to assess and remove children.
I'm trembling with anger. They treat the people of Britain as a petri-dish for their ideological experiments, playing politics with their...
...with their own mission statement:
"We fund political campaigns in the UK to promote democratic reform, civil liberties and social justice."
Bedroom tax? Millionaire tax cuts? Legal Aid cuts? ATOS? Voted for all of this, didn't they?
" it wasn't us, it was the others. Big boys came."
i'm in two minds - firstly having served with women in what are, in practical terms, infantry roles under infantry conditions, theres no doubt in my mind that some women can do the role, in exactly the same way that some men can do the role. however, i would question whether many (and i'm...
Doesn't mean the rest of what they write isn't shite and often wrong. They did an article months ago about how much rent some guy was paying due to the Bedroom Tax. Total BS. I used to live in the same block and I KNOW what the rent is for there!
And they are so bigoted on so many other...
There may be an odd and extremely rare occasion where the Daily Record has "cottoned" on to a report already covered in a more reputable newspaper, hoping to insinuate itself into the hearts and minds of the populace to succour and salve their moods. But it takes over like a red weed and before...
Here we agree. Where we differ is over my opinion that the lack of empathy you describe here is the direct result of the pseudo-empathy created and packaged by the media and sold back to us in the guise of emotional reactions to the lives of celebrities.
It's this causal link that's important.
