Anyone voting in this?

Looks like the Lib Dems are campaigning hard (according to the stuff coming through my letterbox). Could be an interesting one as Labour have proven there is no point having Labour councillors 'in office' as they are perfectly willing to put through the Tory/Lib Dem cuts themselves.

Clearly only an idiot would vote Lib Dem.

Brian Kelly is the one to vote for as far as I can see.

I've had 3 seperate different flyers punting the Lib Dem candidate, inc one from a previous Labour councillor made to look like an official Labour document(!), and 2 from Labour now, the first one basically saying they were still looking for someone to stand.

Just remember folks. Anything over 5% voting for the Dim Lebs will be seen around the country as a disgrace. Do your duty, vote for pretty much anyone else other than the fash.

They've been fucking hammering the publicity for the Lib Dem candidate. She's an ex gang leader turned to God, apparently. Her line seems to be 'vote for the person, not the party' or some such bollocks.

I would be very surprised if she does anything other than very well indeed.

I think theres not much chance of a LD win - look at the results last time http://www.southwark.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/viewelection.php?pollid=17 where the lowest place Labour candidate got more than three times the highest placed Lib Dem (but stranger things have happened)

Judging by the amount of stuff coming through my post box, most of it hiding the fact that she's the Lib Dem candidate, they really have been going for it and think they can get a result.

Amusing Labour flyer today too, pointing out that even the Lib Dem's own candidate appears to be ashamed of being a part of them.

Results were as follows

Lib Dems 554
Con 86
Tusc 63
Green 46

Turnout was 25.54%

We leafletted once and beat the Greens!
