A non-fuckwitted poll would actually have been quite interesting and useful. I'm ambivalent about intervention and I suspect lots of other people are as well - would have liked to see who else was on the fence.

The UN resolution authorises not just the no-fly zone, but "all necessary measures". This could be used to justify almost anything, including a ground invasion. Western intervention may appear to some to deal with Qaddafi's advance, but in reality it's designed to halt the Arab rebellion.
