I'll be there. Hoping for about 500 to come down for it from M'cr. Considering there are 40,000 students here, and the coach is only £5, that's piss poor tbf. The overwhelming majority of students are against the cuts, it's just that they already see it as a done deal, so don't see any point in doing anything about it. Also, I think it's seen as uncool to actually look like you care about stuff these days.

wish i could be going to this, a lot of my friends and people i used to know from uni etc are, including those whove never (or at least seldom) showed the slightest interest in politics.

I'm quite excited, I've never been on a demo/protest thing which had more than 50 people there. I also doubt it will kick off but it's going to be all over the news tomorrow so is a good opportunity to air the anti cuts message. Lets just hope the journos don't give the mic to any inarticulate loudmouths who just fulfill the 'loony lefty' stereotype. And the NUS support the graduate tax which is just plain daft imho so hopefully they won't keep going on about that.
