Awesome 2009 festival and nearly time to book for next year people.

The dates for next year's festival are 20, 21 & 22 August 2010. Tickets go on sale to On The Fiddle (OTF) members for priority booking from 01 October and then on general sale from 15 October.

Keep your suggestions coming for who you’d like to see at the festival either via the forum on the festival website or email info@beautifuldays.org

Blimey, that's an earlier go on sale date than normal! :hmm:

We'll be there in 2010 for definite, but I seriously doubt we can book as early as that .... :(

I'm in! Will book Great Western hotel early - very handy for the shuttle bus (it overlooks Exeter St David's station), and has amazing real ales. I recommend it. Rooms are a bit shabby, but I can't complain on my budget.

If you think my Glastonbury 2010 thread is a blatant clone of this, think again.

Then think back to what you first thought. Because it is. :)

You gonna come to BDs this year then paolo?
You know, with the tankard sporting crowd?

Or are you gonna cling onto your fast disappearing youth at Glasto and Glade for one last season?

;)

:D

Hopefully both. I'll be "keeping it real, for kids" at the 'G' ones, and picking the food out my beard in preparation for BD. ;)

After all the glowing reports from this year's BD I think a return visit may be a distinct possibility in '10.

That's a great recomendation for budget accomodation I can confirm. We stayed there in advance of BD 2008 and as you say the ale choice is fantastic

Anyway we have no doubt at all that we'll be back again in 2010, IMO 2009 was about the best I've been to .....

Hi William - I gave up on ever recovering my old account so thought I'd start a new one.

Welcome!

Keep on looking in from time to time, there's some good festival chat on this forum ... :)

PS to others : 5co77i3 is one of the main people over at efestivals and knows his festival onions big style

Yeah, last year was a cracker. I really think the weather was a big factor in that though.

I'm a certain for next year, it's the one festival I will never miss. :)

Cheers chum! Had a luvverly day Sunday & a fun evening watching 3 Bonzos & a Piano. :D

Happy belated birthday from me too :)

The Post Office is paying me casual Xmas cash at the moment, just off for my early shift, so affording a BD ticket now looks to be an easier proposition in the New Year :)

I know this says it's good for kids but how good is it? :hmm: I'm looking for a festival to take the kids to that won't bankrupt me and this one isn't as far away as the rest.

This looks pretty expensive to me, i am sure there are cheaper and more kid friendly events about.... where to be you living?

Cornwall. I was looking at Camp Bestival but for two adults and two kids it would be nearly £500 in tickets
