Col U being just down the road we went to Layer Road a load of times. It was identical to that even 15 years later. Good place to watch football... really close to the pitch, lots of noise from those low metal roofs...

Drove past their new ground the other day, felt a bit sad.

Also some Col U fan went after us with a golf club outside that rough pub on the corner by the ground

Aye Layer Road was a classic, haven't been to the new one but it looks soulless and the pitch is worse than Wembley

What's it about Cardiff and away games on a Friday night..??
I can remember watching Fulham v Cardiff in the old 3rd division, now league 1, in 97/98, I think..?? Cardiff trashed the away and kicked off in the chicken run. Always amusing to watch Fulham get battered, never liked Foolham, especially now as they have all the plastics who used to watch us in the premiership. Cardiff won 4-1 BTW..
