Oh good grief. Can't you call yourself something else, like the Wibblies? Don't tarnish a noble name with that yoghurt-weaving crap.

Real Wobblies like Bill Haywood, Frank Little , Joe Hill were interested in the best deal for the working class by direct action by the working class. Foisting your particular food fad onto the wobblies name is a fucking insult to the thousands that made the IWW the inspiration it was.

BTW the IWW may have had anarchist members but were not an anarchist outfit.

obviously you've got better things to do than join in with in international group of activists

Motley crew of middle-class shiftless layabouts more like, slurring the name of the Wobblies.

Please explain. You've obviously got a grudge to bear.

All you do on these boards is complain about the worthlessness of political activism.

yeah, they shouldn't bother should they? Lets leave your beautiful and tragic history as it is and remember we can look but not touch.

The IWW exists to the present day, there is a through line, these people are part of that organisation. They can use that name.

As it happens i do think putting 'yummy vegan food' on the flyer is a mistake. Just say 'food'. In fact cook meat too, just a little and if anyone wants it they can have it. I say this and i am a vegetarian. I don't think its a good idea to try and associate your thing with veganism at all... Probably this was ramparts call not urs.

Oh, and for that matter, ramparts? Why are you holding a TU meeting in a squat? Why not, i'm sure, but at least hold the first one somewhere with a little status, and then once its going you can move to ramparts.

The fact this is in a squta and is serving vegan food as if the serving of vegan food was an attratction in itself does not inspire the greatest confidence i have to admit.

But I taxamo, will be the firt to judge them on the content of their program and their proposed actions. And with dan organising, it should be pretty tight. Do speak up though mate ;)
