We have received word from numerous different sources that CNN is trying to bait 9/11 truth activists to appear as guests on its programs and attack Charlie Sheen.

WTC survivor and truth activist William Rodriguez was contacted by the Anderson Cooper show and asked if he would go on record as saying the new Pentagon footage dispelled all 9/11 questions. They also requested that he attack Charlie Sheen's public stance on 9/11.

After Rodriguez refused to take the bait and said he supports Sheen 100% CNN cancelled his appearance even as the car to pick him up was en route.

Lawyer Philip Berg and philanthropist Jimmy Walters were also approached by CNN and promised TV time if they agreed to debunk Charlie Sheen. Both refused.

This represents a coordinated effort to smear Charlie Sheen's viewpoints on 9/11 and poison the well of the wider 9/11 truth movement.

Hmmm I wonder why they need to try and influence people to oppose what Sheen said. I know he`s just an actor, but my view is that hes also just a human being, one who is lucky enough to have media ears.

The fact he`s already made enemies in the media, gives him even less incentive to speak out. All the more reason to listen, hes not offering an opinion, hes asking some questions. The ones the media aren`t addressing.

It's one thing saying a disgusting racist slur - it's another having some kid defending it on the basis that he shares something in common - a penchant for 9/11 conspiranoid theories with no proof behind them whatsoever, in spite of 5 years to attempt to gather even the merest scraps of tangiable evidence.

My curiosity and scepticism over the official account of some of the events of 9/11 aren't a secret - but I'm fucked if I'm going to listen to a schoolkid, or David Icke, or a pissed up, coked up, racist Hollywood fuckwit like Sheen just because they claim to have answers. Sorry.

Even the cover-ups have logical explanations.

Errr no, I`ve listened to the interviews with Rodriguez and others, barely an hour ago.

CNN were telling them what to say, when they said no, it was cancelled. They are trying to groom guests to oppose Sheen.

Why are you defending CNN? Because otherwise what I and others say may have credence? People here are all too quick to bang on about media censorship and "murdochs media" and the like, but as soon as it suits you it suddenly goes away....

The mainstream media is controlled by the broad interests of capital, but how would it benefit CNN (or any other major news outlet) to lie about 9/11?

The interests of capital are entirely seperate from the interests of those who issue it. I would suggest media is heavily influenced (not fully controlled") by those who issue capital. The powerbrokers have always had control over the press, since at least the 1920`s...some people would say the 1870`s.... Both marked transitional events...

I think it's fair to say these conspiranoids have had ample chance to state their case - and it looks as though the racist "alien" theory is either due for repeated ridicule or will form part of urban75 lore.
