Back to the shop in vauxhall! Yes yes! You know it makes sense...

I'm nearly done on my foolishly lacey shrug thing, and am looking to start a "bike cosey" for my boyfriend. He did ask for it...

Oh and I'm thinking of going to the knitting club the I Knit shop people run this week, it's in The Duke of Argyll in Soho from 5pm does anyone else fancy it? Go on go on go on!

oh bugger.. I'd really like to join the I-knit club too - but I have another (badminton) club on Wednesday nights... why is everything ALWAYS on a Wednesday?

I'd be up for the shop again, or would be happy to offer my place (I feel a little guilty if I don't buy anything from them... even though I'm sure they don't mind).

Also, I'll need someone kind to show me how to sew all these bloody squares together

Best dates for me are 12 October, or 24, 25 or 26 October.

No, I can't do Tuesdays OR Wednesdays anymore (although if Weds is the only possible day I can prolly make an exception), Ruby can't do Thursdays (26th is also Offline again) and the 12th is bookgroup... So basically it looks like overall Mondays/Fridays are going to be best.

Ms T... any other dates free?

If it's a choice between Monday and Friday, I'd go for Monday - but will go with those that're date restricted

Well how about Thursday 26th - pre-Offline again?!? That actually seemed to work pretty well last time I thought!!

We can discuss venue once we have a date.

I'm happy to do it whereever- I knit, chez Biddly or at mine (or anyone else's for that matter!).

Thursdays don't really work for me (just found out my uni timetable blah blah), but then most days don't work for me. I'll keep an eye out for a monday one. Or y'know, I don't have any lectures after mid december til feb so I'll take the long term view. Meanwhile I'll carry on considering sewing.

Plea for help....

I've finished making all but 2 of the tiny squares for my baby blanket (well my niece’s blanket). Now I've got to start stitching them all together. I've got the instructions, but don't really understand them

The baby is due 3rd November, but spoke to my brother today and he reckons it's going to be early, so I need to get a move on

Can anyone give me a quick lesson some time this week?

Hello strangers,

Like eme said, I'm well up for hosting but can't do it on the 26th as I'm on duty and need to be free to skip out the door if I get a call

It sounds like it might be easier to stick to the 26th in which case I'd love to come and join you, or if we want to have it at mine we'd need another date which sounds like a potential minefield - my only suggestion is Mon 30th at my place.

or
Thurs 26th somewhere else
