What sort of sick individual would do this?

colacubes

Mr Hot Cookie
I just went to get my lunch at the cafe outside the office and got a jacket potato with cheese and beans as I fancied something hot.

I got back to my desk to start eating it and when I got into the middle of the potato I discovered that instead of using butter on the potato they have used mayonnaise :eek:

I mean seriously I like mayo, but with beans and cheese?! That is just sick

Wrong.

I always layer baked spuds with butter, then cheese, then mayo, then black pepper.

Not instead of butter though, that doesn't work.

On a possibly not very similar note I just had an egg mayo & cress sandwich from Morrisons & the mayo was that thin watery crap which tastes of sick. The worst food I eat is on my weekly or so trips to Stratford. And the women on the bench next to me threw all their rubbish on the floor. It's minging.

Would it have actually been butter though? Would it not have been some sort of rancid catering margarine? In which case, mayonnaise would be 1,000 times more preferable! Perhaps they were just trying to do you a favour....

That is disgusting. I'd have probably assumed it was soured cream (a topping I really love and not enough places offer) and taken a bite!

Probably the same sort of sick individual that wanks off into peoples food before serving it to them..... ;)

That is just wrong. I get in a rage if I order cheese & coleslaw and they put the coleslaw on fist - it really winds me up! Even worse was the place which put sliced cheese on. WTF is that all about?

That reminds me of a sandwich maker that I used to have an ongoing battle with because I'd ask for ham salad with mustard and she would perpetually put the salad on the mustardy side and say "it doesn't matter - it's all the same"

No sandwich etiquette some people.

There was an incident recently with a local sandwich shop, which has led to me not being able to go there anymore as I'm sure they think I'm a freak.

You know, if I want a ham & coleslaw baguette, is it that weird to want the ham put in first?

That would be the way I would want it...it wouldn't work properly any other way

Do they balance the ham on top of the coleslaw then?

They cut the baguette along the top - put the coleslaw in and then put the ham on top. When I asked her for the ham first, she said "I can't do it that way." When I asker her why not, she said she wouldn't be able to spread the coleslaw properly if the ham went in first. So I pointed out that if she put the coleslaw in first the bread would get soggy.

it could be worse

it could be coleslaw

:(

:hmm: Coleslaw on the side of a baked spud is lush (i reckon). Not in it though. Same with mayo, alright on the side maybe but not in it.

Maybe a clone of my sister was preparing the OP's spud, she puts mayo in EVERYTHING, curry, chilli, baked beans. Wrong in every way. :(

And the ham would pop out when you bit in to it!

That's just ridiculous

Made me smile though because I'm glad there are others in the world who want things just as they want them and can see no reasonable logic as to why anyone would want it any other way ;):D
