The Common Purpose

Hello...Just wondered what peoples experiences were with the Common Purpose Organisation...I just discovered my boss is a graduate....Can anyone shed any light on this?

Common Purpose gives leaders the inspiration, the knowledge and the connections they need to produce real change - in their workplaces and in their communities.

And then i found this...

And this....

Common Purpose is also the glue that enables fraud to be committed across these government departments to reward pro European local politicians. Corrupt deals are enabled that put property or cash into their pockets by embezzling public assets.

Are the complaints against this organisation valid?

I've read quite a bit around this subject and found no serious evidence that Common Purpose is any kind of anti-democratic conspiracy nor collectively and corporately partial to the EU. That said, CP could be far more transparent about its aims and operations and has possibly allowed the various conspiracy theories to flourish due to its own incompetence.

Or maybe that's the plan.

If you find anything compelling I'd definitely like to see it.

Really hard to tell with CP. I looked up who had been on courses in my local area and the first guy there was a guy I know pretty well: militant cyclist, CND and FoE member. Hardly the NWO takeover. On the other hand, CP could amount to "networking" on a fairly puke-inducing level and there is something inherently smug about it. For the record, Brian Gerrish is somewhat barking as Spion said, and it's no secret that I love a good CT as much as anybody. In this regard I'm still a bit unclear as to CP but aint got the time to really give a fuck.

ditto just donlt see teh conspiracy .. just new labour m/c bollox ..

I`m trying to brush up on my Common Purpose/Deutsche Bank knowledge. Just to start with, watch their official video, it`s cool, directed by Ridley Scott no less. Reminds me a bit of the Parallax View.

I love the beautiful quote at the end from the South African billionaire businessman Cyril Ramaphosa (you may remember him as a union leader/man of the people back in the day, before he joined the board of a diamond corporation, Unilever and Coca-Cola among others).

I`m also trying to brush up on my NLP/brainwashing techniques knowledge ...:(

There`s a playlist of NLP videos here too.

Funnily enough Obama used the expression `common purpose` yesterday to justify the `war on terror`. Obama`s speeches are littered with NLP techniques - eg hypnotic mantras like `change`, `hope` .

A good interview with Brian Gerrish by Henrik Palmgren , you can stream it or download mp3s. There`s an interesting anecdote of a woman who went on a 48 hour Common Purpose course, and couldn`t remember what had gone on.

One last video:
Common Purpose & Deutsche Bank doing it for the kids :hmm:

have you read this?

seems to make a lot of sense - i havent actually sat through any nauseating speeches long enough myself. but i saw an campaign video unawares and BAM - the 'pacing/leading' technique is subtle as a ton of bricks when youve seen examples of it analysed beforehand.

Thanks , i haven`t read this specific document, but it certainly helps explain how this Wall Street/Madison Avenue/Brzezinski/Soros creation came from nowhere to become President

I'm sure you could accuse any persuasive orator or communicator of using 'NLP' or 'hypnosis' if you wanted to. Loads of people use NLP techniques anyway. I imagine most politicians in America use them very consciously, the same way corporate types and television presenters do.

sure, i agree with that. But theres potential for a political campaign to go a step further in that instead of using savvy techniques to accentuate the message, policies, numbers etc, they can overtake & almost become the message itself.

I cant really say myself (havent watched any speeches in their entirety) but i picked up the impression that the substance of Obamas campaign speeches (in terms of tangible political content) was a bit thin, especially considering their length. could just be the norm for the US though?
