Momentum is building for the protest against the BNP "Red, White & Blue" festival of race hate in Codnor, Derbyshire, on Saturday 15 August.

Unite Against Fascism has organised coach transport to the demo from around the country. Book your ticket now if you haven't already!

I think taking actions against them is pretty much worthless. I've argued at length for dealing with the workplace and community issues that are producing electoral support for the far-right on here. You think everyone who is anti-bnp wants to go around shouting nazi-scum at people though so fuck know why i'm bothering telling you.

I think quite the opposite, I think that the left should go about dealing with it a proper manner, whether that be in their manifests or whatever... As you know, there's no alternative at the moment, it's like one extreme to the other.

I was speaking to an active labour party member who is a friend from school so he's sort of tolerant about my opinions and I had a decent discussion with, the conversation boiled down to me asking him what alternatives labour has to the bnp and right in general...
