Fresh from their show with Chas & Dave, The Mrs Mills Experience will be on stage providing a live soundtrack to the Nocturne Series 2013 bike races.

The band will be thumping out hearty singalong classics like the Lambeth Walk, The Old Bull and Bush, My Old Man Said Follow The Van and more as the brave cyclists hurtle around the track.

Here's the times the band be rolling out the barrel:

16:30 Time Out Folding Bike Race Heat 1
16:50 Time Out Folding Bike Race Heat 2
18:00 Musical interlude
19:10 Brooks Penny Farthing Race

Here's some comments from their Nocturne performance last year:

"Smithfield's Market and the IG London Nocturne take over the streets. The Brooks Penny Farthing Race was about to start and the Mrs Mills band were on the stage ready! The race began and the band kicked in. Totally fantastic!

With thousands of spectators around the track on all sides singing to roll out the barrel and many others. the atmosphere was electric! Thank you to the band for adding this extra pizzazz to our event. What a show!"

Are you playing for the whole thing editor? I think you deserve a pint after what you did yesterday, if you get time. My round.

And I'll definitely be staying around after to watch the races, although I may taker a little while to get out of the middle bit. Drop me a text and tell me where you are.

Good day out; loved the fold up bike and penny farthing races, lovely atmosphere all round and Mrs Mills topped it off- good stuff. Left at 7.30 Will plan to stay for the professional race next year

Nah it was fine for kids and not too crowded. Tbh I think it was much busier last year for whatever reasons

Oi, he/she wasn't fucking asking you!

In answer to ash's question TO ME there were plenty of kids of around that age up till the end, they seemed to be enjoying it.
