Where in Brixton should I get pot plants? Want some nice big jungly ones for my room.. don't have a car or out, so not too far a walk would be good.. live on Brixton Hill.

Does anyone know the name of the WANKING jobsworth patern-balding and probably MALODOROUS council official who renamed Granville Arcade "Brixton Village"?hipipol said:In Granville Arcade - now renamed Brixton Village - there's at least one shop selling jungly houseplants.
If you can stand a bit of a trek, get the 3 up to Croxted Road, where there is a very good garden centre that has an indoor plant area.ChrisFilter said:missed the market stall.. anywhere open on sunday?

I dunno about that (and unfortunately garden centres are something I know a bit about), but it's good.guinnessdrinker said:it's been said to be the best garden centre in London. it's just by the railway line, just after the bus turns into Croxted Road.
The only living pot plant in our library was purchased there. It's actually not too far to walk, albeit not in this cold, perhaps.IntoStella said:If you can stand a bit of a trek, get the 3 up to Croxted Road, where there is a very good garden centre that has an indoor plant area.
