Pierre local signwriter?

Hi

I'm looking to contact "Pierre" who apparently is a local signwriter and has hand-painted quite a few of the signs on shops in/around Brixton over the years.

He's also mentioned in this article:

Does anyone know how to track him down?

I don't know, but probably worth asking in one of the shops with the painted signs, or emailing the writer of that Brixton Blog article.

However, you've made me think of Mr Tourette, the master signwriter...

My brother has the purple one up in his house and has to turn it around each time the inlaws come to visit.

Yes. He's lean, tallish, grizzled - not young - , miserable-looking, French. Most traders will know him, if you ask, "have you seen Pierre around" they'll probably give you a nudge in the right direction. He may well be around Ilias nee Dagons because he's been doing their new sign. He's an early bird, I often see him before 7.

tks for your help, tracked down Pierre today via a very helpful lady who works at Dagons/Ilias. Left my number with her and he called within the hour!
