I am not familiar with the case, in the sense that I know what I have read in the press, but can't say I know the details intimately.
I will say this: if you are living in a climate that allows a murder like this to take place, and don't leave, you are doing it wrong. I've never lived in a house where a murder occurred, have any of you?
This whole situation strikes me as decadent. I have no idea what happened that night, but I know enough about decadence to know that bizarre ideas can come to seem reasonable.
Again, I have no idea if the defendants were in any way culpable. I tend to trust the jury in these instances. Whether jailing these two people for many years is the best outcome, again, I am ambivalent.
Gosh, sitting on the fence like this is a real pain in the ass!
