It's your biopic. Who does the VO, Young You actor and adult you actor?

I forgot about this thread. It didn't take off as I was expecting. That'll learn you for posting in the middle of the night, dotc.

I gave it more thought as I was going to sleep. There would have to be a musical number. The type that starts off all introspective and builds to a rousing and hopeful group number, full of cheer and friendship and joy, and then slowly dies down to just my character again, lonely, realising that friendship and hope and joy was fleeting and actually I'm all alone again.

Those kinds of musical numbers are the best.

I'd include a cameo by Patrick Stewart at some point. Not sure where, perhaps a drug psychosis dream of the early noughties.

If I were going to have a PatStew cameo in mine, it would be me sitting in an empty theatre watching him and his bezzie Ian McK doing Godot while sat in a decrepit Coney Island rollercoaster car.

I have a strong idea of the aesthetic I want to promote.

I'd have to be played by Ben Whishaw. I reckon he'd look good doing fuck all for most of his 20's.

Billy Corgan would have to do the soundtrack.

Young me - Salma Hayek
Old me - Kathy Bates (as in FGTARWC)

VO - Sigourney Weaver

He'd have a massive heart attack at the last minute and you'd have to settle for eddie vedder.

Kid me - Harvey Spencer Stephens (if it can somehow be arranged for him to be the age he was when he was in Omen)
Teen me - Paul Simenon (I know he can't act, but as long as he can look sulky in the background he'll pretty much have the teen me down)
Adult me - Mr Thornton, naturally.

Soundtrack - Warsaw Village Band, interspersed with Doo Wop classics.

Kid - Jack Gleeson
Middle years - Charlie Hunnam or Travis Fimmel
Old - Ben Kingsley

Soundtrack - Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.

Kid - The fat kid from any 80's movie - probably Goonies.

Middle - Nicolas Cage -

Old - Not quite there yet but Ian McKellan would do :)

Soundtrack - Dexy's/Pulp/Johnny Cash
