Jon hurt to narrate.

I'd also opt for an unusual narrative stucture- a triptych told out of sequence middle-old-young.

I forgot about this thread. It didn't take off as I was expecting. That'll learn you for posting in the middle of the night, dotc.

I gave it more thought as I was going to sleep. There would have to be a musical number. The type that starts off all introspective and builds to a rousing and hopeful group number, full of cheer and friendship and joy, and then slowly dies down to just my character again, lonely, realising that friendship and hope and joy was fleeting and actually I'm all alone again.

Those kinds of musical numbers are the best.
