Still have to decide on a name, and I think it's a queen.

Aye, (s)he's friendly and used to being petted. Wasn't keen on being picked up by me so that is when she bolted with me chasing after her. The woman was glad to see it go to a home rather than live feral on the farm.

I've only had her an hour, going to the vets after the weekend when my mate is on duty (she's a nurse but gets me a discount) to get her checked out. She won't have a chip, she's a farm cat.

It certainly looks apprehensive but I guess it's going to take a while to get used to its surroundings especially if it's a farm cat.

It's a lovely looking cat.

This is similar to how we acquired our cat but it was a slower process. She just took up residence in our back garden and when it was obvious she had no proper home we started to adopt her. It took her a few weeks before she really trusted us, and now 3 years later she very kindly allows us to share her house with her.
