Free Entry To A Film At Ritzy.

I'm not sure my boycotting would help much as I have not been to any cinema for ages anyway. But good luck.

I guess people will have different views on that, but I'd say going there and hanging out is still legitimising them as an organisation.

I go to the cinema a fair bit with my kid and her mates. I've told Hackney Picturehouse they won't be getting my custom from now on.

I talked to the Ritzy workers last Saturday and asked them about boycott. As it was not clear from BECTU statement. The Ritzy worker did not say it was a full boycott of the cinema by those using it that was being asked for.

So I am not clear on this.

Looked at the FB page and its not clear to me. Can you clarify?

The link is to Solidarity Federation. I want to see something directly from Ritzy workers.

Oh ok, that is confusing.

I read something else about it I will try and dig up later.

I messaged them on there FB page to clarify.

They replied to say their position has changed now that Cineworld/ Picturehouse have pulled out of talks and imposed a 4% pay rise. So they are now calling for a boycott of Picturehouse cinemas.
