I'm sure someone will find a duplicate thread but :p

So Poundworld has 4 packs of Nakd bars for a quid at the moment.
Home Bargains has limited edition Easter and dark chocolate M&Ms.
Home Bargains also has Tyrrells' apple crisps in the regular and cinnamon flavours for something like 19p a pack.
B&M is currently selling a whopper of a double Butterfinger for 89p and I'm sure that would be more like £2.49 in Cybercandy.

There's a Nilfisk power washer available on Amazon for £69.99 rather than the supposed RRP of over £200.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AGD5IFI/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You have to look at the bottom of the price guide on the right hand side to get the 70 quid price and you will have to wait a while for delivery but frankly I am prepared to wait if I can get it that cheap. And it has a metal pump rather than the plastic ones in Karcher machines.

Any more bargains to be had?

B&M have some green & blacks chilli chocolate in atm if that's your bag.
It is and I bought some! I'd forgotten about that. I also bought some Marmite coated peanuts from there too. Not particularly Marmitey but quite good on the umami scale.

mrsfran told me about this site: www.approvedfood.co.uk which has loads of bargainous food. Some past its sell by so check before buying if that bothers you
Oh yes they have masses of good stuff there but it's like TK Maxx, you have to buy it when you see it. They do bargain boxes every so often too where you get a box of end of lines for a quid or something silly so they're worth following on Facebook.

And ignoring all the irritating little pop ups and things http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ is the place to hit for viewing all offers in one go. For example I was trying to find Teapigs on offer earlier and used it to establish no sod has them on offer at the moment.

When M&S have the 3 for £10 on the meat it's worth checking to see if the jumbo packs of 20 sausages are included as you can get 60 fairly decent sausages for a tenner and they freeze well. They usually hide them very top or very bottom in the sausages section.

39p rings a bell but I was in a pre festival rush to pick up snacks and don't have receipts to hand. I'm sure it was 78p cos I got two bars.

I admire your passion and knowledge of power washers
Thank you moose :D It's actually cos I work in retail and know that the best known brand is not always the best brand so I researched the washers. It's a shame Amazon was cheapest as I wanted a trip to Screwfix to rub my thighs over the DIY stuff. However I do still need a cordless drill!

Some of the Makita range give me a real frisson of excitement.

There's a Makita toolbox in Costco I have my eye on although I've used a mate's Ryobi drill and I quite liked it. Of course I need to go and have a squeeze of all of them just to be sure!

Roule is half price in Tesco. Asda have some nice looking steaks on offer for 2 for £7. Hey this thread is gonna flit between middle class hell and pleasant peasant so there will be a good mix of the two.

I've shopped my socks off today so struggling to remember the bargains I bought.

Oh a huge block of Anchor cheese in Asda is half price and they have duo packs of Cathedral City for a fiver.

Found some Nakd bars in Poundland today having specified Poundworld before. Apple Pie, Coco Loco and Berry Cheeky are in 3 bar packs for a quid.

Also Costco have P20 sun spray for £12.75 in factor 20 or factor 30. Glad I didn't get any in Boots last week when I saw it for £20ish. In case this makes me sound like I spend my life in Costco let me explain. I have 7 cats and they favour the Costco own brand food which has been out of stock on their website for at least a week. I was nervous on the way over today for fear that I might have to switch my lot to a more expensive brand but thankfully they had plenty.

Generally Makita shits on Ryobi from a great height. Batteries are the main problem... My Makitas started snuffing it a few years ago. This isn't really a criticism of Makita, I used mine professionally so any at a similar budget would be the same (bought 6ish years ago too, the tech has moved on). Ideally you want to find something with an 'intelligent' charger, but adds a big chunk to the budget (and no idea whether some are more 'intelligent' than others). I have a Festool drill now, but still use the makita a bit and (other than 2 near dead batteries) it's working perfectly. Pretty sure a Ryobi wouldn't be.

Although it's not on special offer, the deluxe muesli at Lidl is lovely and really good value in comparison to buying something similar at another supermarket.

Thanks for that Cid. Had a squeeze of a Makita today and rather liked it. I'm a leftie so wondered if it would suit but seems to hit the spot. Mind any excuse to go to Screwfix ;)

They are reviewing drills in Which in June's edition. AFG comes top at 91%(£98) but Makita a close second at 90%
The Makita tops the electric screwdriver rating though. You can get a trail subscription for a £1

Annoyingly, there don't appear to be very many companies nowadays who'll recondition/put new power packs in power tool batteries. I had to chuck my "old faithful" 20+ yr-old Wolf cordless drill last year (whose pair of batteries I'd had reconned twice), because I couldn't find anyone who still did it. Have we got to an era where people are more likely to chuck £100 worth of power tool once the batteries are knackered, than be arsed to get it sorted out? :(

either way it's certainly not worth a trip to Dagenham. I'll have a look when in town tomorrow and send you a food parcel if they're clear.
