Been trying to get a half decent one of the local scrapyard. Taken with 1950's Italian Bencini Koroll 24s medium format half frame camera. Fomapan 100 film with kitchen sink witchcraft. Finished off on generic A23 android tablet after bouncing off the clouds

Certainly looks that way! Everybody's going forward and I am going backwards. Instead of getting the Rolleicord or M2 out I use a mediocre Koroll 24s.

shaman75 I bet that parakeet evicted a woodpecker ...last year ( in London ) i watched a woodpecker pecking away for weeks making the perfect home, only to be ousted by parakeets just as he was ready to move in and put his feet up.

Most of the Bencini cameras had meniscus (single element) lenses and a two or three stop range of apertures, so adding digital SFX probably appealed to stowpirate.

No, four shots from my Nikon D7100 (18mm 1/15sec f4 800ASA handheld) stitched together in PTGui. It's quite grainy and not pin-sharp if you look at the full sized image - about 15,000x3500px.

Went to Woolwich again today (and through the tunnel to North Woolwich). I like it there. Still plenty of old buildings to look at and a sense of history. It feels like it won't remain that way for long though, with plenty of development in progress.
