Chips are great

I love chips in almost all their forms, from the french fry to the big soft traditional chip shop style. A tiny bit of condiments can be nice, but I'd only really consider salt to be an essential.

I've even got my own deep fat fryer so I can have them when I want as no other way of cooking them at home is quite the same, despite them being deeply unfashionable these days.

Chips is American.

Best chips I ever had were from the chippy in Blists Hill Victorian town in Ironbridge.
Cooked in beef dripping and were heavenly.
A good chip only needs salt and vinegar, but an oven chip invariably needs condiments.

I passed some sort of test on Friday when I knew that generally Wolverhampton is not black county but the specific bit I was in was. Yeah.

I should've said Wolverhampton and the Black Country to be precise :)
There's a couple of places in the west of wolves that do good orange chips. The Newhampton chippy in Whitmore Reans and the Newbridge Fryer spring to mind, although the Newbridge ones are not as orange.

I have a mate who djs under the name 'Orange Chip' :D
