Just finished watching it; it didn't really say anything particularly new or groundbreaking, was more a refresher in readiness for the report on Wednesday I think.
The reporter who wrote the Sun article was interviewed; his POV was that he wrote the story but had wanted it to be clear that it was only the alleged allegations, that in his opinion it was right and proper for the news to state the allegations, but in such a way that the other side could be heard too. Apparently he was deeply unhappy about McKenzie putting 'the truth' as the headline, but in those days journalists didn't question editors apparently.
They also interviewed a copper who was there who felt all aggrieved that the police force was to blame and basically said it should be about reconciliation now as opposed to a blame game. Fucking joke frankly.
It did raise the question about which documents the public would get to see, and also whether the independent panel have really had access to all the documents.
