(e2a:mental health act, rather than owt activisty. the closest i have got to 'being an activist' was a few years ago - spent a few days planning to superglue myself to a plane with my mate, and getting someone to marry us on the runway. we were both a bit manic at the time. instead of actually doing anything, i spent the day burnt out, demanding cups of tea, and weeping on the sofa. my mate, otoh, got on a short haul flight and berated all the other passengers for their carbon footprints . the manchester airport demo people wouldn't talk to us cos we were too mental
other than that, i quite enjoy making shit homemade placards and hiding at the back of demos with a flask of tea and a fag)
