Anti- choice bigots defeated in Cardiff

it was a shock to see them huddled around and praying at what was essentially an old bus stop on a busy city centre st
again, big up the protestors against them who i know some of, things getting better around here :)

It's a bit scary, though. Abortion IS legal here, and that shower of people seem to be coming from a sort of mad and crazy USA point of view. (Not that the whole USA thinks like that- I only mean the crazy religious nutter aspect).

It is a bit worrying. the possibility of that sort of thing getting a hold over here. I suppose they will now change their focus from Cardiff to other places.

Anyway, I am glad they were told to go away. :)

Cardiff has always had a significant anti-choice movement. Seems to be focused on Splott and the catholic churches influence there

Also plenty of RC church in Glasgow, possibly mainly in the East End, where I am from, but I don't *think* we have had similar annoyances here. I could be wrong, though.
