Bought the odd cd from small bands/poets in pubs etc. but haven't bought a proper release in a shop since about 2001

Vinyl is a different matter...

God it would have been a year ago. It was The Lovely Eggs album.
I didn't buy it on CD but from iTunes only music I've ever bought for download as well.Only did it because I thought they deserved the support.

Probably the last P J Harvey album*. I don't buy as much as I used to due to not having as much disposable income and having young kids, so less time to listen to music.

*actually I tell a lie, it was an Almanac Singers compilation

I buy a lot of classical CDs these days. No pop music since Amy Winehouse died, when I bought two of hers.

Obviously buy tons of CDs for official reasons. I think the last one I bought outside of that was for a friend (with very bad taste) :D

Which reminds me, I need a link to that site cos of trying to get obscure CDs that the OH might like for presents.

I am ashamed to say I bought one this week, but it was for research.
I bought one for real two weeks ago, I really just wanted a vinyl single but they only had the song on a CD album, not even a vinyl album.

Bastards.

Still it turned out to be quite a good album, decent enough to sit and listen to all the way through (I prefer 7inch shuffling).

Turbo Fruits.

Always CDs. Can't handle the sound of mp3s etc, still too compressed a sound for me. I've no doubt the technology will eventually improve to something I can cope with, but as yet it's some way off.

Bought one last week.. But currently only got mobile broadband ...

But must admit before that it was about 4 years
